Introduction:
This guide intends to explain the functioning, installation, and bottom-line basis of Ros-Bot, as well as giving pointers on how to optimize it to the highest levels possible through the tweaking of parameters, the use of third-party software, and the understanding of the Diablo 3 botting meta, which often differs from the regular “manual” meta. As such, this guide is aggregating numerous other guides made by involved members of the community. All credit for said guides belongs to them. The only purpose of this guide is to centralize and organize the data along with a proper explanation of each concept. A. What is Ros-Bot
Ros-Bot is a tool enabling the organization and execution of commands on Diablo 3. It should be noted that the use of Ros-Bot is prohibited and should therefore be used at your own risks. In addition, Ros-Bot is not “plug and play”. Because of its complexity, its customization options and the number of possible combinations, you will need to play an active role on what to tell the computer to do. Most of this configuration will be performed via the Master Profile.
B. Installing Ros-Bot
For the bot to function properly, you will first have to install the software. To do so, you can follow this guide: C. Picking a good script
A script is an organized list of commands that the bot will execute. Through the website, you have the option to link some scripts directly to your account, however, all scripts are not equally good, and it is important to follow the creator’s instructions precisely to reach the best results. Pickit is a configurable tool that will communicate to the bot what it has to pick, salvage, sell or keep in the vault. It can be very accepting, vague and simple, or extremely strict and precise to maximize your efficiency and only keep the items that fit your needs. First of all, early access to the tool is available one month after the release of each patch. It gives access to a limited number of functionalities (no master profile, filters in Pickit, etc. ). It should be noted that the early access starts after each patch, no matter how minor it is. This means that there might be multiple early access periods in a given season or time period
To set up a build, you have to complete what is called a Master Profile. This Master Profile is the dashboard in which we’re going to communicate to Ros-Bot what stuff it should wear for each task, what it should pick up, what it should avoid, which skills should be cast, etc.

The meta for botting is vastly different from the ”manual” meta in multiple ways. It evolves through patches, as well as through the development and optimization of the various scripts published on the website. The input of the community is also accounted for, and multiple scriptwriters will rely on the advice given by long-term botters through the main channels (e. g. Discord). – For Gem upgrades(Push): with the rework of the Fire Bird set from patch 2. 7. 0. the wizard is showing some insame pushing potential. Even if the scripts are fairly new and not fully tuned yet it is already the best. go to #tags and type? tag wiz
Since the meta is constantly evolving, refer to the website/forum to keep your edge. One important thing to keep in mind is that the best way to progress is to stay focused. Some builds are very gear-sensitive, and the only way to get them right is to focus on one build.

Two metrics are important when measuring the performance of the bot: GPH (games per hour) and EPH (experience per hour). To get a good idea of what those metrics represent and how your bot is performing, it is advised to let the bot run for at least 8 hours to reduce the impacts of RNG. The most efficient number of GPH depends on a vast number of factors: your character’s class, your paragon level, your build, your PC specs, your internet connection/ping as well as your gear optimization. At lower levels, high EPH but low GPH can be a bad investment since you’ll greatly reduce your amount of legendary drops, and thus your progression. The number of GPH you should be aiming at is usually indicated in the forum post for the script you are running.
Lastly, here’s a guide on optimization of EPH/GPH: 2. Resolution
800/600 resolution seems to be the most appropriate one since it works the best with a virtual mouse and keyboard. It also is quite efficient in terms of performance.
3. Graphics settings

In the task manager, you can increase the priority of Diablo to Higher and Ros-Bot to “Real-Time”. RBA (see below) can also do those things automatically.
Allows detailed feedbacks and data gathering regarding your bot’s performance: On this website, you will also find 2 other tools that are very useful. Pure Tools allows ros-bot optimizations, while Pure Pickits helps with the gearing of your heroes. All credits belong to Whatevar which did an amazing job on those tools.

Tool developed by Guigs that forces the bot not to pick up shards. This increases the GPH and thus the overall performances of the bot: This tool is no longer needed, just input 0 as shards number in your master profile for the bot to stop gambling and ignore the shards.
Developed by Sunblood, this tool uses Pickit to craft items: C. The real budget of extreme botting
Extreme botting can cost between 40 and 100$ a month. If you are playing on 4 accounts, you’ll need 4 ros bot licenses, as many licenses for the cookies, not including the different tiers of licenses and other third-party software licenses. Even though it is fun, it also is quite an investment.
Using a Virtual mouse/keyboard already slightly reduces performance (even though this phenomenon tends to disappear with successive patches) as well as using VMs will reduce the performance by about 10 to 15%, but it is sometimes necessary to use VMs to do something else on your computer or to set up multiple accounts botting, so here’s a guide: 3. You will mostly need a lot of RAM (16go is the bare minimum), but a multi-core processor and a good graphical card would be useful as well to increase the overall performance of the bots.
It isn’t possible to get 4 accounts to play together using Ros-Bot only. However, you can use Pure Tools to group the bots in order to farm Bounties (refer above)
A few good practices are:
– Do not play is public teams for keys, bounties, or GR
– Leave all the communities you’re a part of
– Do not aim at the first ranks of the leaderboard, do not attract attention
– Always turn off while botting
– Do not play with people that know you’re botting and aren’t at peace with it: being reported is still the best way of being banned.
No matter what, it is always possible to get banned even when following all the good practices mentioned above. You should never bot on an account you are afraid to lose, as there is always a chance to get banned.
Botting is a risk and will always be, so try not to attract attention and pray for the best.
